In loving Memory of Beau Case
Hi, my name is Macey M
ae Case and I’m writing to let all of GRRCC members know that my best friend, Beau, who was adopted from GRRCC back in 2001 has crossed the rainbow bridge into heaven.
Gary, Sue Ellen, Bryan, Allison, and Beau adopted me four years later. It was wonderful having such a good friend to hang out with and wrestle. I tried real hard to teach him to catch tennis balls, but to no avail. He simply wanted nothing to do with them.
Beau was a handsome golden boy and a special part of our family. He was only sick for two days when my family took him to see Dr. Gallagher at Mint Hill Animal Clinic. She and her staff took loving control of Beau and took a few X rays and a blood test. Then she had to tell them the horrible news that Beau had Hemangiosarcoma and only had a very short time left with us.
Beau came home and was showered with affection in his final hours, and closed his eyes for the last time later that night. We buried him next to his first best friend, Sandy Belle, who many of you will remember, since GRRCC provided her with two new hips in 2001. I’ve been told that she was also very special and Beau loved her very much. Over the last few months, Beau spent an unusual amount of time lying next to Sandy’s gravesite; I think he has been looking forward to the reunion.
We are all so grateful to GRRCC to have rescued Beau, so he could provide the Case family with so much love and fun over the past years. He will surely be missed by us all. Later this week Dad and I will update our website so everyone who loves Goldens can see more recent pictures of Beau and see how much love he gave to all of us. Please take a minute or two to remember Beau with us by visiting www.welovegoldens.com.
