Kate McNeal

1998- February 13, 2009

I adopted a Golden Retriever through the rescue mission in 1998. Kate (I changed her name to Kate) was 9 months old. For 11 years she graced my life with joy and unconditional love. She was the sweetest dog in the world. Kate was diagnosed with bone cancer on Halloween and lived much longer than the vet thought she would but, alas, Kate died February 13th.

I wanted you all to know that the Golden Retriever Rescue Mission gave me the opportunity of a life time by allowing me to adopt Kate and I thought you would be interested to know that Kate could not have had a more loving family. This picture of Kate was taken just before Christmas after the diagnosis that would eventually take her away from me and I want to share it with you.

Thank you so much for giving me my beautiful, sweet and loving Kate. She has meant the world to me.
