Agrees to provide a temporary foster home for: __________________________________________, a rescue dog of the Golden Retriever Rescue Club of Charlotte, Inc. (GRRCC).

I understand that I have no claim of ownership on this dog, and the choice of a permanent home for him/her is that of the GRRCC.

While the dog is in my care, I agree:

1. To administer daily or monthly heartworm preventative and any other necessary medication (cost to be borne by GRRCC or as agreed by parties).
2. To provide proper care for this dog including, but not limited to, shelter, shade, proper diet, fresh water, protection from abuse and loss due to theft, illness or running away (cost to be borne by GRRCC or as agreed to by parties).
3. To provide and maintain a suitable fenced yard from which the dog cannot escape. Invisible fencing is acceptable, if the dog is leash walked. The dog should NEVER be left outside when no one is home. When outside and not in the fenced yard, the dog will be on a leash. The dog will not be tied, chained or tethered.
4. To notify GRRCC if the dog needs veterinary care.
5. To save and hold harmless the GRRCC, its officers, directors and members from
any liability arising out of the foster care of this dog.

If in the opinion of GRRCC, the provisions of this agreement are not being met, the dog will be returned to the GRRCC. In the event that I chose to adopt this dog, I agree to sign a Rescue Operation Adoption Contract and pay the appropriate adoption fee.
